Flash Flood in GTA
All I can say is its been one long summer! This past summer of 2005 has been, by far, the hottest summer on record. Continuous weeks with greater than 30 degrees Celsius have certainly got us to feel the heat. That age old question "So, is it hot enough for you?" seemed to loose its meaning, and humor early on. Along with the heat waves, we have also encountered some very serious storm activity. The attached PDF file shows a glimpse of how great the down pours were in the North Toronto area not far from one of our major POP locations. Please have a look at the attached PDF file. (... and no that's no river, that's actually a street!) I am pleased to say that in spite of the nearly catastrophic weather conditions, our network has performed extremely well. We have experienced only minor outages do to the most extreme weather conditions. SwitchWorks will be continuing our aggressive plans for upgrading of our network to the most reliable wireless network available. Flash Flood - August 2005.pdf(577KB) Please feel free to contact me directly regarding how these changes may impact your organization. Sincerely, Rick Ross President, SwitchWorks Technologies Inc. |
